Barcelona City Breaks

Barcelona City Break

Try a Barcelona city break and soak up the chic and sophisticated atmosphere of the Spanish capital. Aesthetically Barcelona is a beautiful destination, with historic streets crammed with medieval romance and an awe inspiring Gothic quarter, which is home to delights like architecture by Gaudi and some outrageous Art Nouveau.

The best views of the city can be seen from the cable car up Montjuic, where the still uncompleted Antonio Gaudi church, the Sagrada Familia and an impressive Gothic cathedral, dominates the Barcelona skyline. Barcelona city breaks are a cultural delight, with the city being home to art collections, which include Picasso and Miro and an array of artistic and historical treasures.

Chic sophistication on a Barcelona city break is also evident in the shopping opportunities, with an array of chic boutiques, stylish markets and contemporary stores open throughout the city. Barcelona is also home to a mixture of bars and restaurants, from the stylish cafe bar to the flamboyant nightclubs. The many excellent restaurants serve meals late in the evening and Barcelona lights up at night, offering visitors a range of flamboyant entertainment.

Situated on the Costa Brava, Barcelona city breaks are perfect for excursions to the sun kissed beaches of mainland Spain, with the balmy Mediterranean beaches and popular resort towns only a bus ride away.
